Have you ever wanted to work out and tone you lower body but was overly embarrased. Not because of anything but the obvious you are just to scared to take the leap. Anxious and motivated you decide to give it a go, but wait someones looking through the window. So embarrasing did they see me, I bet I look ridiculous. This type of thing is what we call a snow ball effect you down play the situation until it consumes your whole motivational spill that you had with yourself that morning. Yes there are some of us weird ones out there but it simply makes us more fun. For quite some time I have despised my thighs, I may be small but my thighs move way to much for me. Over a period of time it has made so subconcious but every time I go to do something about it I boost myself up to come back down. Which is in no way something that I am willing to deal with anymore. So today we are going to make a change and actually obtain progress in the process.

Let’s be honest that if you believe that you are able to tone your bum like that then you must be ready for the overkill journey. You must be dedicated to the cause and push yourself because you whole lower body will feel as if some one has hit you with a pillow case of soap. If you willing then as am I what are some ways to tone you bum quickly.

  • Bridges
  • Squats
  • Lunges
  • Plies

Bridges

If you looking to tone you bum fast then you should really utilize this exercise 15 min, at least 2x a day for best results.

How To:

  • Place you back on the floor and place one leg up (your preference)
  • Resting the other leg straight on the floor
  • Lift your left leg until it lines directly up with your right thigh
  • Push up and down while in the same position
  • Switch Legs

The Alternative

Or you can simply plant you feet on the ground, with your back placed on the floor. Squeezing your hips together gently squeeze you bum, then lower yourself to the ground.

Squats

This exercise is widely known amongst the fitness because no matter if you are working on you legs, bum, or lower body in general, here’s your go to. This is the simplest exercise you can do and guess what it costs you nothing. Don’t you love heaing that sound I know I do.

How to

To accomplish this exercise you must

  • Place you feet apart hip distance
  • Squat to about a 90 degree angle
  • Then come back up

Complete a set of 15 reps at least 3x if no 2x a day but as your body begins to get used to it then you can add more onto your work load. Take it slow because jumping into this can really have an impact on your body. Pace yourself and still to the limit if you are just beginning and gradually progress.

Lunges

Amongst the other exercises targeted at the bum area lunges are a perfect way to work just that area. Its really simple once you get into it. This is done in a time frame that is more beneficial for you being as though everyone has a wide variety of goals.

How to

  • Stand with your feet and legs apart this time shoulder length (feet facing forward)
  • Step forward placing only you knee from going beyond toe length
  • While pushing off your heels, maintain you balance
  • Straighten your body back to normal upright position
  • Switch legs

Plie

Most people hear this term and automatically find it humorous but I for on have never been quite sure why. If you believe it to be true this is the mosy efficient bum exercise that anyone one has every though up. It’s low profile but has the biggest impact.

How to

  • Spread your feet to shoulder width
  • Toes pointing out, keep you back and arms straight
  • Place your arms out in front of you
  • Lower yourself utilizing the squating position
  • Then use you bum to bring you back to a standing position

This would only take 1 to 2 minutes a lot of people refrain from doing this because it not manageable, I know for me I know it isn’t. I mean I used to dance but those years have come and gone and my body isn’t what it used to be flexibility wise.

How long does it take to tone bum

When doing you exercises over a period of time it seems to take longer but as you start to see the results none of that will even matter. Toning you bum is something that can be accomplished maybe not in that time frame you wanted but over time. Toning normally takes about 6 to 8 week depending on the person and their diet. No im not saying go all out and become vegan but monitor what you are putting in your body. If you need a little assistance I would invest in the bum toning bands as well they really work.

If your thinking about exercising and toning you bum, take that leap and exercise like no one is watching. Learning to block things out will take you far here maybe even a side of meditation. Walking The Line

In case you weren’t aware the time is now 11:12. Normal people are sleep right now but for me no such luck. If your new to my blog I suffer from insomnia. Majority of my nights are sleepless. If I do manage to get some sleep, if I am awakened then I can’t get back to sleep. This has been an ongoing issue and I want to say that it started after I had my second daughter. It has been going on for such a long time that it almost seems normal, but its not. I envy the people who have the ability to fall asleep and stay that way. You guys are truly lucky, that’s where I need to be.

Come in Solution

I know that this is not something that will just go away. I am normally not a person that takes medicine. I believe that for every medication the side effects are triple that and causes even further problems. That’s just me don’t send me any hate mail. I’m jisy joking, I’m a mom with a sense of humor of course, I’m only human. I have started taking melatonin because my body needs a good nights rest.

Well, spill the beans

Since I have been taking melatonin I worried about the side effects. Then I think that without it I may go back to constantly being awake. The good outweighed the bad in this situation. So fat nothing has happened, no I didn’t from a third arm. So I think its safe to say that I am going to make it.

It takes time

I have to say that when I take the melatonin it does not take effect immediately. Remember to give the vitamin 30 minutes. I hope that everyone has an awesome well deserved good nights rest. Stay safe ❤

ADHD and Me

Being a mom is hard but being a Mom with ADHD is even harder. I am a Mom with ADHD, Married to a man with ADHD, and have 2 princesses with ADHD. This is extremely hard and chaotic at times managing and keeping up. However it is possible to manage being a mom with ADHD .

ADHD

Also referred to as attention deficit disorder as it pertains to that of a chronic condition in which a person may have attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.

A mom with ADHD can edure a variety of different things such as the inability to sit still , losing track of their things, and staying on top of things.

This is not something that we as moms should be ashamed of. Over a period of time we have learned to deal with these barricades, we develop methods as to hos to achieve goals despite theses shortcomings. We all need help from time to time and don’t worry I will help you.

Shortcomings

Moms with ADHD cannot accept boring like boring task on an everyday basis can become exhausting to us. When we have to do task such as these it becomes unbearable, the type of things moms like us would stay away from.

Systems Are Life

Developing systems can be really beneficial and can really help, when you develop a system that is beneficial and created by you it really becomes easy and enjoyable to do.

Say for instance I am not a stickler when it comes to laundry but very picky at times in the order in which I do them. I do what works for me, so laundry is done on fridays, I tend to wash the girls clothes first, then mine and my husbands.

Beneficial Habits

Developing habits can be useful but hard so start with one at a time. Establish a habit and start small, for instance making your bed. This will help you and teach you children a good habit as well.

Strategies for You

I know this may be had being as though you little ones come first but you must find a way to help you focus in your day to day life. I utilize color coding to help me accomplish my goals and stay on track. When I write a list i use a variety of colors always consistent with my tasks on a daily basis.

You Matter Too

Sometimes strategies can be tedious and you need to throw something in the mix to give you that extra umph. Listening to music while you get tasks done can be a motivational inspiration to keep you going.

The Natural Way

Most people would prefer not to be on medication and believe that they can manage their ADHD by themselves. This is very well possible when you do your research. I utilize melatonin to help me relax and wind down because sometimes it is hard for me to get to sleep. It comes in different textures and can be found mixed with epsom salt for baths.
